The purchase of plans and undertaking of a project assumes a reasonable competency with woodworking tools and an understanding of the inherent risks. Safety should always be your number one priority. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for all items and tools and adhere to your local building standards and homeowner’s association bylaws.

While the plans endeavor to teach a safe and optimal methodology; it is impossible to account for all variabilities of individual skills and tool availability. As such we ask customers to exercise judgement on their ability to interpret and execute these plans. Extra precautions and additional research are always advised, and Makers Manual cannot be held responsible for your personal safety or the project once it is in use. We do our best to keep information up-to-date and correct, but if you’re injured attempting something you’ve seen on Makers Manual, or if a project doesn’t yield the results that you expected after following our tutorials, Makers Manual is in no way liable.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, all content published and made available on our Site is the property of Makers Manual and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that match the description of the good(s) you order on our Site.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. This includes all products listed as being out of stock. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our goods are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all goods we provide. You agree to purchase goods from our Site at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.

You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you.

You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

In no case shall Makers Manual, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Right to Cancel and Receive Reimbursement

For the sale of digital good, returns can only be accepted if the goods are found to be poor quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described. If any of these are found to be the case, please contact us and we will attempt to remedy the problem for you. Though we cannot take responsibility for user error when interpreting the plans.

If you are a customer living in the United Kingdom or the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract to purchase goods from us within 14 days without giving notice. The cancellation period will end 14 days from the date of purchase.

To exercise your right to cancel you must inform us of your decision to cancel within the cancellation period. To cancel, contact us via our contact form on the website.

The right to cancel does not apply to:

• Custom or personalised goods.

Effects of Cancellation

If you provide express consent to the supply of digital content during the cancellation period and acknowledge that your right to cancel the contract is lost by the supply of digital content during the cancellation period, you will no longer have a right to cancel the contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same form of payment as you used for the initial purchase unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees because of the reimbursement.

This right to cancel and to reimbursement is not affected by any return or refund policy we may have.

Consumer Protection Law

Where the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.

All plans are intended for personal use only. They may NOT be resold, or good produced from these plans sold by any person or company. If you wish to use them for resale purposes, please get in contact.
